What do Pallet Inverters do?

Pallet Inverters are used for the rotation of pallet loads where exchange of pallets or inversion of product is required.
Without a Pallet Inverter it is necessary to load and unload pallets by hand which is difficult, slow, and a source of potential worker injury.
Pallet Inverters eliminate the need for manual handling and therefore eliminate the injury risk whilst increasing cycle times and productivity.

How do they work?

Pallet inverters consist of a rotating box incorporating a clamping mechanism attached to a fixed base frame.

  • The clamp is hydraulically actuated and the sensor plates prevent any product damage.
  • Rotation occurs around the large precision bearing and is powered by a torque boosted VSD Controlled electric motor.
  • Inverter function is controlled by the on-board Microprocessor controller which provides fault diagnosis, consistent and trouble free operation.
  • The operator (usually the forklift driver) needs to press only one button to initiate a full cycle.
