Simpro Handling Equipment
Multi-Tip Stainless Steel
The high-speed mobile bin lifter.
What is the lifting capacity of the Multi-Tip?
Up to 150kg per bin cycle, making it suited to light-to-moderate duty environments rather than continuous heavy industrial use.
How fast is a tipping cycle?
Around 15 seconds per cycle (some sources list up to 20 seconds depending on configuration and power pack).
What bin sizes does it fit?
The standard cradle takes common wheelie bins (typically 80L–240L) without clamping or modification. Optional bolt-on catch kits and custom cradles extend this to drums, crates and other commercial containers.
What tipping heights are available?
Standard models are available at 1200mm, 1600mm and 1800mm tip heights.
Is it food-grade / hygiene-suitable?
The Multi-Tip SS variant is available in partial or full 304-grade stainless steel construction for hygiene-critical or corrosive environments, with an open frame that's quick to inspect, clean and sterilise.
What power options are available?
1-phase mains, 3-phase mains, or battery. Battery units can be paired with a solar panel, Simpro cites up to ~30 bins per day emptied on solar power alone in typical use.
Is it safe to operate without a cage guard?
Yes, the single-mast open design combined with mandatory two-hand operation means moving parts can't be accessed during a cycle, so a full cage guard isn't required (unlike the larger Dumpmaster range).
What kind of businesses typically use the Multi-Tip?
Lower-volume, regular tipping applications, offices, schools, cafés/restaurants, small-to-medium warehouses, and light industrial sites doing roughly up to 10 bins a day.
How much maintenance does it need?
Simpro markets it as requiring no regular scheduled maintenance, owing to the simple mechanical design and enclosed operating components.
