What makes it different from the standard (non-SS) Dumpmaster?
The SS variant is built for hygiene-critical environments with a polished stainless steel finish, rounded external surfaces for easier cleaning, and higher ingress protection (IP66 vs IP55 on the standard model) to withstand regular high-pressure washdowns.
Is it suitable for food or pharmaceutical production?
Yes, it's specifically modified for food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments where micro-organism control and washdown resistance matter.
How much floor space does it need?
Under one square metre, regardless of the tipping height, the bin's weight stays within the machine's footprint throughout the lift, unlike swing-arm style tippers that need clearance for the arc of travel.
What safety standards does it meet?
Full-height guarding with an interlocked door as standard, built to CAT1/PLc under ISO 13849 and AS/NZS 4024, upgradeable to CAT3/PLd or CAT4/PLe for higher-risk applications.
What power options are available?
Battery, 1-phase mains, 3-phase mains, or compressed air (the compressed-air option is specifically for explosive/hazardous atmosphere environments, e.g. certain chemical sites).
Can it empty bins from a loading dock?
Yes, via the Dockmaster variant, a configuration of the Dumpmaster line optimised for emptying bins from elevated docks and platforms.
How long has this design been in production?
The Dumpmaster platform has been in production since 1992, with the SS hygienic variant available for more than two decades
